Meat Goats

I started raising Boer goats several years ago when I was given two Boer does (Flopsy and Mopsy). Right now I only have a few meat goats, since I am mainly focusing on Nubians, and don't have enought space! I currently only have one adult doe, which I am keeping to use to breed for my fair market goats. Since I don't have my own boer buck I have taken my does to be bred every year at Little Angel Acres, and have always been very pleased with the results. In 2007 I even won Grand Champion Lightweight Market goat!!! This year for the first time I am just breeding Flopsy to my Nubian buck, since it just makes things a little bit easier. I might have a few Boer kids for sale occasionally, but for the most part they will only be used for market.
